ALONISMA MEETS LOWN 12 Mayıs’ta Last Penny Büklüm’de!

Flütçü ve Neyzen Andrea Romani’nin, Alonisma grubu ile Fransız Piyanist Alexis Nercessian’ın “Lown” Projesi arasındaki deneysel bir işbirliğidir.
İki yıl önce Paris’te tanışan müzisyenler, Romani’nin ve Nercessian’ın cazın tınılarını Orta Asya ile Ortadoğu’nun tınılarıyla birleştiren son albümünde buluştu.
Trompette ise uzun süreli Nercessian eşlikçisi olan Leo Jeannet var. Bu grup iki Yunan tarafından tamamlanıyor; davulda Alexandros Louloudis ve kontrbasta Apostolos Sideris, New York caz sahnesinde uzun bir kariyere sahip.

ALONISMA meets LOWN featuring Leo Jeannet (trumpet)
This is an experimental collaboration between flutist and nunner Andrea Romani’s Alonisma group and French pianist Alexis Nercessian’s “Lown” project.
The two musicians met two years ago in Paris, where Romani participated in Nercessian’s latest album, combining the sounds of jazz with the sounds of Central Asia and the Middle East.
On the trumpet is Leo Jeannet, a regular Nercessian collaborator. This group is completed by two Greeks, Alexandros Louloudis on drums and Apostolos Sideris on double bass, musicians with a long career in the New York jazz scene, but also with deep knowledge in music, both of the eastern Mediterranean and northern Africa and the Balkans.
As you can see, we can play a rich repertoire with sounds of jazz, Central Asia, the Middle East and beyond.
